The Crotona Park Bench is named after the largest park in the Bronx borough of New York. In 2006 a major renovation of the park was initiated and this bench style was selected to be used in the area surrounding Indian Lake. This same bench was also used earliest in Washington Square Park in Manhattan and re-introduced during a major renovation in 1995. This version of the bench is the most basic with just a back and no armrests.
