Top 10 Customer Favorites from Our Collections

Kenneth Lynch and Sons has over 90 years and three generations of experience in the art of designing and producing statuary, fountains, urns, ornamental garden pieces, and furniture to beautify and enhance outdoor spaces. For decades, we have created pieces that are beautiful, decorative, and timeless, becoming a staple for designers and homeowners who wish to combine classic design with creativity in their gardens. Take a look at our customer favorites from our collections!

1. Classical Tiered Fountain
The Classical Tiered Fountain is a favorite for estates, courtyards, and public spaces. Its stunning design with scalloped bowls creates a perfectly proportioned waterfall effect. A pineapple, the symbol of welcome, is the quintessential finial for this design. This fountain design requires the use of a pool at ground level to catch the splash.

2. Rosette Wall Fountain
One of our most popular fountains is the Rosette Wall Fountain for its simple beauty and customization options. The fountain adds a sensory experience with the sound of trickling water and a profound sense of relaxation. The fountain is also designed to be self contained, meaning there is no need for a basin at ground level but one can be installed to create a larger focal point. Customize this fountain with different rosettes, added shells, and installation options.

3. Piper of the Garden
The Piper of the Garden is a piece that adds both charm and personality to the outdoor space, a great fit for an English Cottage Garden, Courtyard space, or other small to medium garden. The figure can be produced as a stand alone figure or a fountain with customization options. The Piper of the Garden is made of natural lead or can be painted.

4. Classical Four Seasons Statues

Statuary adds a different level of life and character to a garden, and the Four Seasons Statues are no exception. These cast stone statues sit at 6 feet tall and can be displayed individually, paired up, or as a complete set. Their classical design includes exquisite detail in the draping of the gowns, intricate bouquets, and fine faces. The molds were created from original stone carvings purchased by Kenneth Lynch himself in 1964, adding a layer of history to these remarkable pieces.

5. Neoclassical Arm Chair
The Neoclassical Arm Chair is loved for its unique tapered shape. The design is well suited for traditional and contemporary settings, making it a seamless fit into any outdoor space. The Neoclassical Arm Chair’s complete welded construction with cast aluminum allows this piece to withstand the test of time both in durability and style. It is available in several finishes, including white, black, and forest green as well as premium hand applied glaze colors. Adding a pop of color with seat cushions is always a great idea, and we provide many custom cushion options for your design needs.

6. Filigree Design Star and Dolphin Chair
Similar to the Neoclassical Arm Chair, the look of the Filigree Design Star and Dolphin Chair is one of our most popular and sought after designs and fits any setting. Like all pieces in the Florentine Classics collection, its welded construction makes it a quality choice for all seasons. It is available in several finishes as well as premium hand applied glaze colors in Antique Black, Pompeian Green, Antique Lead, and Grecian Blue. Customized cushions are available to complete the look for this Filigree Design Star and Dolphin Chair.

7. Neoclassical Grand Chair
The Neoclassical Grand Chair, our version of a Club Chair, boasts a generous seating area with a deep cushion. The piece is a perfect addition for an outdoor casual seating area, perfect for conversations or reading. The skirt of the chair accepts all of our additional motifs including a wheat sheave, star, shell, tulip, rosette, palm tree, moon and fleur-de-lis. The Grand Chair can also be customized with an extra deep seat area.

8. 1939 World’s Fair Bench

This iconic 1939 World's Fair Bench of New York City's Parks was developed for use at the 1939 World's Fair. Today, its design fits beautifully in a home setting and continues to be widely used in parks across the nation. Originally, Robert Moses and Kenneth Lynch collaborated on the final design to maximize comfort and to take advantage of manufacturing processes. Over the years, Kenneth Lynch & Sons has further improved on the design and added many variations, including modifications in length and arm rests. A 1939 World’s Fair Bench with an engraved plaque creates the perfect final touch for a home or public setting.

9. Central Park Settee
Much like the 1939 World's Fair Bench, the Central Park Settee is a classic bench of the New York City Parks Department and brings a polished look to the home garden. The seating is made of Natural Ipe Lumber, Painted American White Oak, or Recycled Plastic Lumber, and the bench supports are made of ductile iron, a foundry formulation characterized by high strength, flexibility, and durability. The settee can be customized with or without armrests and modified in length.

10. Chess Table
Check mate! While our authentic New York City Chess Tables are seen throughout the New York metro area in parks, playgrounds, libraries, and residential developments, rest assured they create an intriguing addition to a home setting as well. The chess tables can be ordered with a plain surface or with custom colors for the chess board. A perfect activity for avid chess players or perhaps a fun game of checkers.
