NEW:

We are pleased to offer this very special child scale bench as a complimentary unit to our standard 1939 World’s Fair bench. This bench was introduced in 2019 after the collaboration of Chris Crowley, of the New York City Parks Dept, and Maria Dumoulin, president of Kenneth Lynch & Sons, to downscale the traditional lines and ornamentation of the standard size bench while still being able to use standard materials and being able to withstand adult weights. The bench was first placed in Poor Richard’s Playground, Manhattan, NY. Careful consideration was made to ensure that no point would cause head entrapment, most notably the addition of a divider in the hoop arm. We envision this bench being popular in parks adjoining school yards and daycare centers.
