Behind the Scenes at the Workshop
We are excited to share some recent new projects in the works at Kenneth Lynch and Sons. From the iconic Central Park bench to unique fountain pieces, sundials, chess tables, and more - each of our pieces is carefully handcrafted by our talented team in our workshop located here in Connecticut.

Central Park Settee
See how we piece together the iconic Central Park Settee! This bench design is a favorite choice for many parks across the nation, including New York City’s Central Park for which this bench was originally designed. This classic piece is sought after by state and local parks departments, municipalities, and also homeowners who are looking to place this iconic bench in their own outdoor spaces or home gardens.
The Central Park Settee comes in a variety of materials and color options. Pictured here is the classic “Central Park Green” Green painted onto oak.
Lead Cistern with Birds
This custom lead cistern was designed for a residential home in Moncks Corner, South Carolina in collaboration with Wertimer + Cline Landscape Architects. Our team worked with the designer to find an existing pattern with a wave border to match the aesthetic they desired and it had the ability to be customized to the size appropriate for the space. The details of the lead birds are a nice addition to this unique design adding a gentle water feature.
Classic Armillary Sundial
Our Classic Armillary Sundial is one of our most popular sundial designs in our Estate Elements collection. This piece features the signs of the zodiac and can be customized with decorative features, plaques, and a variety of columns or pedestals on which it can be installed. The sundial is available in 3 different sizes, making it a great choice for a variety of outdoor spaces and garden sizes.
Classic Concrete Chess Table
Our Classic Concrete Chess Table can be found in parks across the country and includes a concrete and terrazzo top that is durable throughout the seasons in all climates. The table can be paired with different styles of benches or concrete stools. Custom colors for the chess board are also available.
Cast Stone Wall Fountain
This large cast stone basin will be part of a beautiful wall fountain. Once installed, the tiered flow of water will create a soothing effect at its new home in San Antonio, Texas. The finished piece will be a part of a residential swimming pool spa.

Our collection of fine outdoor furniture is always in the works at the workshop. We work with homeowners and designers to bring together style, comfort, and lasting durability. Our handcrafted furniture is available in an array of finishes, design styles, cushion colors, and customization options - each piece can be tailored to perfectly reflect your design vision.
