This David is an excellent half size model of the original done by Michelangelo. Michelangelo had the desire to create the perfect figure of the young male and as a result made the heroic size model and carving. We were fortunate enough to have a fine Academy Master available to carve our statue.

Additional Information: A client requested a discrete version of the figure, we therefore had a fig leaf modeled to perfectly fit our model. The leaf is permanently placed if selected.
